RoboRave

RoboRAVE is an international robotics competition that is sponsored by Intel. The competition has been hosted annually for the past 18 years of history in the United States.

Divisions:

ES: Elementary School (8 to 10 years old)

MS: Middle School (11 to 13 years old)

HS: High School (14 to 18 years old)

BK: Big Kids (University students, Teachers, Engineers, Hobbyists, etc)

Introduction:

RoboRAVE is an international robotics competition that is sponsored by Intel. The competition has been running for the past 18 years in the United States, and continues to consistently attract thousands of students anually. Currently, students from countries such as the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Czech Republic, China, and India are involved in the event. The 2019 RoboRAVE International will be held in Albuquerque Convention Center, New Mexico, U.S. from May 3 to May 4. During the competition, students will need to design, build, and program a fully autonomous robot to complete the given task. Inquiry and project-based learning is the educational philosophy behind the RoboRAVE competition. During the preparation process for the competition, students' hands-on ability, scientific understanding, teamwork, time management, and language skills will all be significantly improved.

  • Line Following Challenge
