Distinguished Lecturer Series
CYRC invites globally renowned professors, scholars, industry elites, and leaders to give lectures to young people on the most cutting-edge robotics knowledge, to popularize artificial intelligence and future technology trends, and to open a door for young people to access cutting-edge technology.
For example, Dr. Po-Shen Loh, coach of the USA International Mathematical Olympiad team and renowned professor in the Mathematics Department at Carnegie Mellon University, was invited by CYRC to Vancouver twice to deliver keynote speeches titled "Mathematics Unlocks a Creative Life" and "The Onslaught of ChatGPT, How We Survive".

CYRC led students to participate in the BC Tech Summit, where over 5000 technology professionals from around the world attended. Tanmay Bakshi, prodigy and Honorary Advisor at IBM, as well as Lane Merrifield, co-founder of FreshGrade and Club Penguin, gave speeches at the summit.
In 2017, under the tutelage of CYRC, distinguished participants of the "Future City Competition" met with then-Mayor Gregor Robertson at Vancouver City Hall. The participants then introduced their creative designs to Mayor Robertson and received high praise.
At the Botball International Robot Competition Canadian Regional Competition hosted by CYRC, the club invited then Mayor Mr. Richard Steward of Coquitlam City. Mr. Steve Goodgame, the chairman of the Botball competition, also came from the United States to support the competition.
